Things to do in Taghazout besides surfing

Not everyone in your group surfs, and even people who do get a flat day. These are the things worth doing with the rest of your time — with what they actually cost.

What we run

Everything below is ours, with a real price. No booking fee, no prepayment.

Reading and ideas

For everything we do not run ourselves.

If you only have one non-surfing day

Take Paradise Valley between December and May, when the pools are full. Take sandboarding any other month — the dunes do not depend on rainfall and the sunset over the Atlantic from the top of them is the photograph everybody goes home with.

If it is a flat, windless, warm day and you have already done both, the beach ride at sunset is the one people are most surprised by, because almost nobody plans for it.

What is there to do in Taghazout if you do not surf?+

Sandboarding on the Timlalin dunes, the Paradise Valley rock pools, horse riding on the beach, yoga, and day trips to Imsouane or Essaouira. The village itself is small, so most of the good days involve leaving it.

What is the best day trip from Taghazout?+

Paradise Valley if you are here between December and May when the pools are full. Sandboarding at any time of year, because the dunes do not depend on rainfall.

How much do activities in Taghazout cost?+

Our prices: sandboarding EUR35, Paradise Valley from EUR25 per person, horse riding EUR65 for the two-hour private ride. All include transport.

Can I combine surfing with other activities?+

Yes, and most people should. Surf in the morning when the wind is lightest and do the land-based activity in the afternoon. Message us and we will build the day around the tide.
